Hi there.

I’m one of those sickos who always wanted to write ads. As a kid I recorded radio ads (most cured diarrhea) on cassette tapes. I studied the fake ads in Mad Magazine. Eventually got my hands on a copy of Ogilvy on Advertising, studied adv at Newhouse, and built a portfolio at the VCU Ad Center.  

Over the course of my career I’ve led teams, productions and new business pitches. I’ve been fortunate to write award-winning work at some of my dream shops and learn from creative leaders I’ve always admired.

I make doing the work fun, I enjoy collaboration, pushing campaigns across the finish line and I’m always looking for opportunities to make smart, effective work with good people.

In addition to freelancing, I am currently a professor at the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. 

Most recently, I was an ECD and led and helped grow the Nationwide Insurance account at Ogilvy NY. While at Gotham I created award-winning work for Denny’s, Chobani and the American Heart Association. I started my career at Lowe, where I learned how to work fast and never turn down an assignment. 

As a freelancer, I’ve worked on a host of clients across a wide range of categories, from Mountain Dew, to Wyndham, to Spectrum, to Fort Worth Tourism and SharkNinja amongst others. In 2023, I co-founded and helped launch a brand innovation studio in Brooklyn, called Manufactured. 

My work has been featured in the One Show, Communication Arts, Cannes Lions, D&AD, the Addys, the Effies, and others.
